You could be able to Reset your Admin Account Password

The computer is currently running Ventura 13.5.1 which was released Aug 17, 2023

In theory, you could UpGrade from Ventura to Sonoma 14.5.

Though, sometimes it maybe better to upDate Ventura to the current Ventura 13.6.7

About the security content of macOS Ventura 13.6.7

Once done, proceed with the upGrade to Sonoma

Always make a Time Machine Backup  before doing any upDates / upGrades
