How to open the mini player to fast forward or rewind podcasts on iOS 17 ?

I’m using ios17. I’m not sure if Apple have updated the Podcast app but I’m having a problem in being unable to open the mini player to fast forward or rewind podcasts or set the sleep timer. I press on the mini player and nothing happens! Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
