Apple Music interfering

I do not subscribe to Apple Music but it's interfering with my music on the Music app.

I downloaded an album of 10 songs from my iMac to my iPhone. On the iPhone three of the tracks are greyed out. When I tap on them I get the message "this song is not currently available in your country or region". That's an Apple Music message I shouldn't be getting, isn't it?

How can I stop Apple Music interfering and play all 10 songs on my iPhone?
