Timing slides in Keynote '09

I'm new to Keynote, so please forgive me if this question seems really obvious, but I can't figure it out.

I know how to make a number of slides and have them change by hitting the space bar, but I want to make a slide show (that is, Keynote presentation) that just plays all by itself, so to do this, how do I set the on screen time of the slide? I can't see that in the Inspector?

Also, I have a slide with a movie on it. It's set to "automatically play when open" and yet when I hit the space bar, it goes to the slide (black) and then I have to hit the space bar again to play it, so that's not working.

Basically, I am having trouble figuring out how to make Keynote automatically play back a Presentation with graphic slides and movies. Hope someone can point me in the right direction as I imagine I am overlooking some basic thing.

To have the slides change by themselves, you need to tell Keynote to automatically transition to the next slide after a specified number of seconds. To do this, open the inspector toolbox and choose the Slide Inspector (2nd tab). At the bottom where it says "Start Transition" select "Automatically" and then specify when you want that slide to transition to the next slide by adjusting the number of seconds in the box labeled "Delay".

To have the movie start automatically, select the "Build Inspector" (3rd tab). Click "More Options" at the bottom and a drawer will pop out of the side of the inspector toolbox. Select the object that as the name of your movie. At the bottom change "On Click" to "Automatically after transition".

Hope this helps!
