Iphone 15 Max Pro two numbers one has stopped working

I have had 2 sims for over 3 years , I got a new phone about 3 months ago, I have an esim and a nano sim, two different phone numbers, same network.

Both have worked fine until 1 day ago, number on the nano sim doesnt call out -states call failed , I am not receiving calls on that number either, but do receive voice to text messages and text messages, the esim works normally I have checked with network providor -number and accounts are fine. Providor changed the sim in case it was damaged, it still doesnt work. I have tried every fix I can find on these forums.

Any help is really appreciated

Something appears to have gone amiss w/ your nanoSIM provisioning.

Since you need to resolve this issue w/ your carrier …

… why not just migrate your nanoSIM number to an eSIM ?

Your phone IS “Dual eSIM” capable.

(as are all iPhones produced for “non-China” markets since iPhone 13)

Thanks, the support person from the carrier could not find any fault with either sim -nano or eSim. If I have dual eSim I can only utilise 1 number at a time not both, I require both numbers to be active at all times.

I think you misunderstand - or more likely the individual explaining it to you was under-informed and/or not “current.”

You can have TWO active eSIMs simultaneously on your iPhone 15.

“… You can use Dual SIM by using a physical SIM and an eSIM. iPhone 13 models and later also support two active eSIMs … “

(FWIW, I use two active eSIMs on my own iPhone 14.)
