Lost Apple Watch Apple Pay and Hearing Aid Functions on Upgrade to iPhone 15 Pro Max

Recently replaced my iPhone X Pro Max with the 15 Pro Max. Since the "upgrade" my Apple Watch Series 5 lost the ability to use Apple Pay from the watch. Additionally my hearing aids won't stay connected to the iPhone, therefore must use the speaker for phone calls. Mind you, both functions worked well on my iPhone X Pro Max.

Both the watch and iPhone OSs are up-to-date. I turned off and rebooted both the watch and iPhone several times. What a disappointment this "upgrade" is to my expectations and wallet.

Has anyone had a similar experience and found a solution? Thank you for any help.

After an device change you need to re-pair any Bluetooth devices; Bluetooth pairings do not migrate for security reasons.

So get your hearing aid instructions and follow them to pair them with the new iPhone.
