Blue Yeti Nano not recognised on MacBook Pro M3

I will preface this by saying I am a brand new Mac user (we're talking a couple of weeks), so I thank everyone in advance for your patience and expertise.

I have a Blue Yeti Nano mic which I used on my Windows laptop for podcasting. Since switching to Mac, the microphone is not recognised as an input device, and on Logitech G Hub it says "Please Unplug and Replug Device" no matter what I do.

What's happened so far:

  • As my original cable was a USB A, I used a USB A to C converter dongle from Apple.
  • I also tried to route it through a little USB hub I have for my peripherals, but that plus the converter dongle made the mic produce this high-pitched noise that was deeply unpleasant. It also didn't help.
  • I contacted Logitech and explained my setup, and they told me to get a cable with the right configuration so I don't have to use converters or hubs. I did that, and it still doesn't work.
  • Settings-wise, I have checked that the mic isn't in the input list, and that all permissions are granted in Privacy Settings to all apps.

My MacBook Pro is brand new, with a 2023 M3 Pro chip.

Thanks to all in advance!
