Location Sharing No Longer Working

I am using an iPhone 14 pro running ios 17.5.1.

Last summer I did a cross country road trip and shared my location with my family members. It worked fine. I am traveling again and have tried sharing my location, but everyone i share it with says they cannot see my location. Or, they can initially see it, but within a few hours it goes away (I am clicking share indefinitely). In the latter case i am not sure if they can only see one location, or if it is updating until it eventually stops working.

I have gone into settings>privacy>location services>share my location and made sure the share my location toggle is on. I have also gone into the find my app, the same toggle is on there. Something strange to me is in the find my app the “my location via satellite” section says “not available” and in red font, “finish setup”. When i click finish setup it says to turn on share my location in Find My, which is already on!

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
