I have ipad 9th generation but need speaker dock?

I used to have older ipad 5th generation and used a Sony speaker dock(,Sony - Speaker Dock for Apple® iPod® and iPhone model :ICFCS15IPSIL ) and still have it, but it does not power this newer ipad 9th generation. I have been searching and not finding, something similar. I want to dock my ipad on the speaker so I can listen to podcasts through the speaker and leave ipad docked there all day unless taking somewhere. But if I dock this newer one, it starts draining battery as it is not actually enough power to charge it, so please tell me if there is something I can buy that would take place of this and can be used for the 9th gen Ipad.
