I just upgraded to Monterey 12.7.5 and there is no iMovie?

Hello,

As I said in the title, I upgraded my MBP from Catalina to Monterey. I noticed that there is no iMovie in the applications. I went to my Time Machine external drive and luckily there is a copy of the application but it's got the incompatible symbol on it. I did a quick search and found that some people have compatibility issues, but in my case iMovie is nowhere to be found.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.13

If iMovie was previous installed on this computer

It would show up in System Information >> Installations

Does it appear as having been installed before the upGrade to macOS 12 Monterey ?

Was iMovie removed before the upGrade to macOS 12 Monterey ?

The upGrade from macOS 10.15 Catalina to macOS 12 Monterey does not include installing an optional Apple Applications like iMovie

You would have to Open the Apple Apps Store and redownload and install a compatible version of iMovie for macOS 12 Monterey
