Upset at Loss of Itunes

iTunes synched, backed up, transferred photos and music between phone and pc, for FREE!!!

Apple removed it, and with NO notice!!! Their only option is to PAY for Apple Music. It only works for the music part of what iTunes did. And when u stop paying for it, they remove any music you downloaded.

Any suggestions?!?

To sync music using a Windows computer:

Sync music between your Windows device and iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support (CA)

To sync music using a Mac computer:

Sync music between your Mac and iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

As with all music rental services (Apple, Amazon, Spotify), if you end the subscription, yes the music you were renting will be gone. However, if you have music on your computer sourced from CDs, records, cassette tapes, 8-Track tapes, or purchased from iTunes, they remain on your computer. As they are your property, it is your responsibility to maintain any backups of said files, as you would with all valuable personal data.

Can u at least tell me how I get my downloaded CD’s onto my iPhone?

Do you still have iTunes installed on your computer?

When u finish paying for your subscription, any music u did not “buy” goes away. Not true?

True, but as steadman1 mentioned, Apple music is (like Spotify, Amazon Music {or whatever it's called} and any other subscription service is just that - a subscription and when you stop paying, you stop having the service.

But music that you have purchased, either from the iTunes store or from other sources (such as Amazon, Bandcamp etc.) are yours to keep. Apple has released apps (to replace iTunes) that will synchronise with devices, although I don't consider them to be full replacements as yet and I continue to use iTunes.
