Why doesn't my iPad show the Wi-Fi symbol though connected?

My ipad is connected to wifi as i can see wifi name in settings with blue tick on left side.

But doesnt show the cone icon at top right of screen.

I found out i cannot connect to wifi when i wanna update my ios to ipadOS 17.5.1 (i havent update my ipad for a while so may be the cause of my issue?)

Please help me now i cant do much on my ipad as a lot of apps e.g google, games, drive, gmail require wifi.

Please help me rectify this as soon as possible!

Thank you very much!

First, restart your router by removing all power from it for about 15 seconds (assuming you control the router).

Do you use VPN? If so, delete the VPN profile in Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN. Don't just turn it off; delete the profile.
