Not receiving messages in a group chat

I'm in a group chat with three iphone users and one android user. I can see a message in preview but when I click on the group, I see only my own replies. None of the other replies are displayed. This issue is only with one group. I'm in other groups where this issue is not occurring.

iMessage group chat missing reply text box Hello, I have an iMessage group chat on my iPad that is missing the reply text bar. The same group chat on my iPhone still works normally. Any message I receive still comes through to both my iPad and iPhone. I just can’t respond from my iPad. If I try to it creates a new group chat. I’ve tried turning iMessage off then on again on my iPad, this hasn’t restored the input bar. I don’t want to delete the group chat as I don’t want to lose previous messages and images. I’ve turned my iPad off then on; it’s running the latest iOS18. This problem existed in iOS 17 also. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Here are a few reason it might be happening and I pulled this off of a website

Weak or no internet connection.
iMessage or MMS settings may be incorrect.
Ensure your iPhone has the latest iOS version.
Check and adjust message settings.
Reset network settings if needed.
Contact your carrier for network-related issues.
Temporarily disable and re-enable iMessage.
Confirm the sender's number is not blocked.
Try a third-party messaging app for troubleshooting.
