Can the latest model of HomePod be used with an iPhone 11 running iOS 17.5.1? and does HomePod require a specific version of iOS in order to connect to HomePod?

No. Though having a recent or up to date version of iOS is suggested, its not absolutely required.


iOS 17.5.1 is currently the most up to date version available. So you should be fine.
