Apple Pencil Tip Broken

It’s only been a week since I’ve bought my Apple Pencil Pro and the golden tip already broke off. What do I do? I know I cant repair it. So do I have to buy a replacement? Or can I get one from Apple for free? (I don’t have Apple Care)

The only serviceable part of an Apple Pencil is the user-replaceable Pencil Tip.

As described, the transducer (this being the element that interacts with the iPad screen) has been broken - and as such the Pencil is scrap. The only remedy is total replacement of the Pencil.

If you suspect a manufacturing defect, you might try seeking assistance from the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store. If you don't ask...
