Text Msgs start new line with capital letter

In all my emails and text messages my iPhone 12 keeps starting a new line and capitalizing the first word. Very frustrating. Any suggestions?

You can turn off Auto Capitalization in Settings > General > Keyboard > Auto-Capitalization. Keep in mind that this will turn off all auto capitalization, not just on new lines.
