I am having utmost difficulty sourcing a simple currency converter for my macOS Monterey version 12.7.5. Can anyone possibly recommend a free download for this purpose please? Thank you.
I just type the conversion into my favorite search engine. But you could also try the one in the built-in Calculator.
Thank you for taking the time to reply. I will be travelling across several countries each with its own currency. The Apple calculator and searching each currency transaction (via Safari) is not what I am looking for. A downloadable app (if one exists of course) for my MacBook is preferred.
Why does the calculator not work? It's an application on your Mac that's already downloaded. Unless you're specific about what you looking for and why suggested solutions don't meet your needs, no one is going to be able to give you anything more than general suggestions.
Which applications have you tried so far? What was wrong with them?

Unless I am missing something, the inbuilt Mac calculator does not show which world currencies by name (British Pound/South African Rand/Turkish Lira) I am trying to convert to whatever currency? Agreed, there are plenty of excellent currency converters to be sourced via my Safari search engine but I was really hoping to have a more convenient app as a quick-look bookmark. I guess I will have to continue using the search engine system each time a currency needs converting. Your input is much appreciated.
