Using macOS 14.5's SystemSettings>Accessibility>Display, I can directly toggle my M2 MacBookPro's built-in 13" display's Contrast & "Increased Contrast." But can I control a external monitor's Contrast connected via USB-C<->HDMI 2.0?

If SystemSettings' "Increased Contrast" & adjustable Contrast do not extend to external monitors' contrast, can I nonetheless try to equalize the external monitor's contrast with my MacBookPro's "Increased Contrast," such as by using macOS's builtin Display Calibrator Assistant software or by manually adjusting the external monitor's side buttons 1 at a time? EG: Volume Up, Volume Down, Brightness Up, Contrast Down etc

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 14.5
