Kernel panic while hibernating (sleeping) mac book pro M3 MAX

A couple of weeks ago every time I close my MacBook Pro (M3 Max, 64 GB memory) lid to sleep, after a while when I open the lid back up the laptop restarts and and the following error message is displayed "Your computer was restarted because of a problem."

Apple Disgnostics test showed no errors ADP000 when connected to power via USB-C directly to the charger that came with the pc; when connected via USB-C to a CharJenPro Ultimate Dock USB C Hub it showed PPP008 and PPP018.

I have barely any apps installed, the only peripherals are a samsung T7 shield 4 gb, mouse and keyboard via bluetooth and an external 4k display monitor KTC H27P22S. I already re installed the OS and the issue persists.

If anyone has any clue what could be the issue I would really appreciate it.

Usually that is the case, but it can also be an externally connected device.

You should run EtreCheck again & post the new report here to confirm all traces of those two apps have been removed from the system. Sometimes an app does not always remove all traces of itself and may require portions to be manually removed.

Try booting into Safe Mode to see if that works. If Safe Mode works, then you have some third party software installed which is most likely causing the problem. The VPN software is a likely cause as is the Samsung Magician software since the latter driver was listed in the Kernel Panic report. VPNs do not provide the privacy & security you think they do. A VPN is only useful for connecting to an employer's network via their VPN server/firewall or for bypassing regional restrictions. For one of your third party apps you did have to reduce the system security to all the software to work....if it was the VPN software, then that is already compromising your system before even using it.

Also try disconnecting all external devices in case one of them is causing a problem.

FYI, I've never seen that exact Kernel Panic before...so that is a new one for me.

You can also try running the Apple Diagnostics to see if any hardware issues are detected.

Removed Figma from the login items and problem solved for now, I'll keep you posted in case it happens again!

Unfortunately it happened again, contacted apple support, and since several steps have been taken, including creating a new user with admin privileges to confirm if the error persisted (in this case the error did not happen), I have scheduled an appointment today so they can look into it in person.

Once I have a definitive answer will provide an update in case it results helpful to someone else!

Uninstalled both surf shark and samsung magician, disconnected all devices, the crash persists when closing the lid for more than 1 hour.
Ran apple diagnostics and no hardware issue was detected

Have seen one Reddit posting related to Errors " PPP008 and PPP018. " using an M1 MBA

" PPP0008, PPP018 and PPP01.. is that anything serious? I'm new to this. From what I've found so far it means that the cable is not an official Apple product. It doesn't matter, if the charging cable is plugged, these three codes appear. So far, I have no problems with the Mac, it's normally charging and everything works
