Unable to verify account name or password.
I am delighted to report that I've found the answer to repeatedly getting the above message when trying to set up email on both my MAC and my iPhone. I was puzzled because Webmail was working perfectly. I have now learnt about Application Specific Passwords (ASPs) and discover that unlike the advice I had been given - the passwords on each device needs to be different from the webmail password. One simply goes to webmail, on each device, enters settings, password management and requests a new password - even though you get the gobbledegook one allocated, copy and paste into your server settings on that device and you're away!
