If so, disassociate this from an account. This is probably associated to a different Apple ID. Have the original user disassociate it from their account.  Go Here: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, or Trade in your Mac - Apple Support. The seller should have known better.

You Likely have to Wait Up to 90 days:

Log Out of Apple ID:

Your husband needs to remove this from his Apple ID. Making yourself the administrator in the Mac itself plays no role in assigning this to your Apple ID.
