everything was already sad in the privious discussion.., bur there was no solution.., no "helping hint/ hand" from Apple yet - what about customer satisfaction ?
Just disabling the VPN may not be enough. The software needs to be deleted and the Network Settings need to be reset.
You may also need to force restart the Watch.

Now, try redownloading the update, and see if this fixes it.
Thank you. Deleted the old watchOS 10.4, redownloaded for the new OS.. - it downloaded relatively fast.. and then went again into a kind of endless "Preparing" ... loop
Regarding the storage (watch) : only 10,5 GB of 32 GB used.
Befor starting prosed action I also disconnected the VPN of the iPhone, so bothe Iphone and watch are connested only to my wifi at home
"Preparing" is running now for approx 3h
How long has it been stuck on preparing? For me, it usually takes around 15 minutes to prepare, give or take 5 minutes. Is it still stuck now?
