this song is not currently available in your country or region but why though...?

So tracks that have been working on my devices for over 10 years now decided to go with the "this song is not currently available in your country or region" alert. I connected my phone and uploaded new music to it yesterday with no issues and now randomly I have this issue today. I've read the blob about changing my region and so on, but I pose the question. Why? I see this issue has been going back for several years and now I'm magically afflicted by it. I want to know why this happened so randomly to music I OWN and ripped from CD's using iTunes over a decade ago. I didn't download them in iTunes or anything of the sort, so why the issue? I'm not changing my region as I've never left the region. Several of the tracks were working last week so why this random issue? What's going on? I want answers as to the why, or a fix without changing my region.

Do you subscribe to Apple Music? I am thinking that may have caused some confusion. Your tracks may have been matched with something in Apple's collection so the copy on Apple Music is Apple's copy, not yours. Things then get messy. Contact Apple as suggested.

Winamp. Most audio digital media is easily converted to other formats. Plenty of free tools to do that (e.g. Audacity).

External optical drive can be inexpensive. I have a DVD player I bought for $20. Does CDs too.

I don't have Apple Music and I did contact support. I had to re-add America as my region and then in media and purchases, I needed to sign out and sign back in. That fixed the issue but brought up another one. Now several tracks are no longer listed. I noticed this issue several months back when some songs were delisted from my playlists. The fix for this was removing all music from my device and then reuploading them. So after seeing the fix work but seeing the songs delisted I thought it was the same hiccup, but as opposed to reuploading all my music I just did a resync and I then encountered the same issue where the song is not currently available in my region. So now I'm a smidge annoyed so I went with purge the earth mode and I'm removing all my music and reuploading it. I'll report back when it finishes, and considering my computer is an abacus connected to a potato this could be a few hours.
