iPhone 14 Pro Max White Screen of Death

My phone is a year and half old and recently updated to iOS 17.5.1 and all of a sudden I have the white screen of death. I still get the buzzing from my notifications and I could turn my alarm off and turn my flashlight on, but when I took it in to the Genius Bar they could not specify whether it was a software or hardware problem after the diagnosis. I am not willing to clear my data or pay for the screen replacement when they don't know what the problem could be. Is there any way to find out which issue could have been the cause of this?

I tried hard resetting the phone multiple times and Wondershare Dr.Fone

Here are some common solutions you can attempt:

If not resolved; please follow the steps in the following link for support with this issue: If your iOS device restarts or displays the Apple logo or a spinning gear unexpectedly
Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary software glitches. Turn off your iPhone, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
1. Restart the device. That's it.
2. Still not solved --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
Make sure you have the latest updates installed. Update using iTunes/Finder —> Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support (IN)
You still see a black screen after charging, force restarting, following the steps in this article.
1. You see a black screen, but you can hear alerts, sounds, and vibrations.
2. The screen remains black, but the device chirps when you unmute it and connect it to power.
