Is ipod nano compatible with the new apple devices app?

I'm using a Windows 11 computer with the Apple Devices app because iTunes no longer works with the newer iPhones and I had to delete the old iTunes app to get the new app to work. Now my iPod nano 6th gen won't sync with the new app? Why did Apple screw things up so royally. Maybe its time I sold my Apple stock, they're losing their mojo.
