Apple Podcasts on Mac: No Sorting?

I've been through the support documents here for Apple Podcasts under MacOS. There does not appear to be any way to sort episodes. What if you want to listen to something like a foreign language lessons podcast and want to start at the BEGINNING rather than the latest episode, as it appears in Podcasts. Apparently there is a way to do this in iOS and iPadOS, but not under MacOS. When designing an app where it might make a difference to toggle the sort order between chronological and reverse-chronological doesn't it make sense to incorporate such utility into the basic core of the app? Unless I'm missing something, I'd sat that someone missed the boat here with such a lame omission.
