This has been a long term ask. Happy to see that Google maps in IPhone now shows current vehicle speed while driving (At least here in Netherlands). There is a new setting to disable/enable as well.
Have you seen it enabled for you / in your country as well? Curious about the roll out strategy.
iPhone 15, iOS 17
My wife has this setting on her iPhone 14 Pro Max but I don’t on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. In the US. Both phones say they are using the same version of Google maps. There’s no info on what’s going on, if it’s limited to phones newer than the 12 or something? Hopefully it will be sorted soon.
