How do you get input names or at least Colors with input numbers to show up in GarageBand’s track input selection instead of “Aggregate 1-2, 3..“ etc?

On MacBook Pro (latest OS & App versions) , I can name aggregate inputs in Audio Midi Setup for several interfaces, and they are neatly color coded, But the names or Colors Do NOT show-up in Garageband’s track input selections.

How do you get input names or at least Colors with input numbers to show up in GarageBand’s track input selection instead of “Aggregate 1-2, 3-4…“ etc?

Ok, here is all i have been able to come up with so far.

Rename “Aggregate” to “M1-12 L13-34” to represent M and L interface channels. So 13-14 is 1-2 on L’s inputs. M has 12 Channels & L has 22.

here is a screen shot of the 2nd rate solution to rename aggregate.

The BEST solution would be a Fix from Apple!
