How to add money from my debit card to Apple Pay?

You will need to coordinate in advance w/ your Grandson’s “Apple Family Organizer” to ensure that he DOES have his AppleCash setup to receive any funds you send to him.

Hi! If your debit card isn’t already linked to Apple Pay, you can

1. open the Wallet app on your iPhone
2. Press the + icon at the top
3. Choose Debit or Credit card
4. Follow the on screen instructions

To send the money

1. Open Messages
2. Find the conversation of the person you want to send funds to
3. Tap Apple Cash
4. Put in the amount you would like to send
5. Press Send
6. Confirm with Face ID or Touch ID.

How old is your grandson? If he’s 18 or older, just send it to him. If he’s under 18 coordinate with Family Organizer, as Chattanoogan stated in his post.
