How do I fix my iPhone when it says cannot verify server identity?

Over the last few weeks an app on my iPhone 13 Pro running most up to date ios 17 keeps getting the message "Cannot Verify Server Identity...papi.serviceu.com..." I have tried these methods for fixing the error.

  1. Confirmed the ios is 17.5.1 most up to date version.
  2. Restarted the Apple mail app.
  3. Deleted and re-entered what I think is the offending email account, although I am not sure which one may be causing the problem.
  4. Restarted the iPhone.

None of those actions has fixed the issue. Is there another way to fix this problem or any way to identify what app is trying to access that server?

Thanks,

John

Had the same issue. I found the issue in Settings>mail>accounts. There was a calendar with the offending Papi mail account. I deleted it as it is not something I use and there was no username or password associated with it which why when it tried getting mail it would pop up the error.

I have the same issue. When you click on details it opens and gives a DNS Name. Mine started this a couple days ago and I swear it has a different DNS name than what it says now. Now mine is saying Alexa.lab.macadamian.com

when I search in Google what this site is..it looks like online gambling, which I have never done nor do I have any apps.

yours the same?
