iTunes - Same Artist Displayed Multiple Times
Let me preface this by saying that Apple's software is contemptibly buggy for a company that's market capitalisation is approaching $3.5 trillion dollars.
Initially I had two different Hans Zimmers'.
So I went through the second lot of Hans Zimmer music, deleted all the artist details, closed the iTunes app, reopened it, and re-entered the artist details.
All the songs were finally listed under the one Hans.
Then I opened iTunes again and suddenly I have five different versions of Hans Zimmer.
So I tried changing the artist name to another version (an answer elsewhere suggested adding a 'X' after the name). This initially worked but then reverted back to multiple Hans' when I reopened iTunes again.
I cannot put into the words the frustration I feel right now.
This shouldn't be an issue, especially because all these songs were purchased from the iTunes store (so everything is in the same Apple ecosystem).
Any help anyone can provide would be much appreciated.
