Standby Mode on iPhone only allows photos and full screen clock choices

Question

I have an iPhone 13 running IOS 17 that used to let me set the default analog clock on the left and calendar on the right in Standby mode.

Somehow it's now gotten set to that I can only select either full screen Photos or a Full screen clock. I have followed the directions here Use StandBy to view information at a distance while iPhone is charging - Apple Support and I can only see Photos and Clocks by swiping left or right. That's it.

Swiping up or down on either only lets me choose different photos or a different full screen clock.

It USED to show the default as shown on the apple KB but now it does not.

That doesn't work. All I ever get is the option to choose different photo streams or clocks.

I want to see this when my phone is in standby.

All I can choose is either a full-screen clock, or full screen photos. I cannot find any way to put TWO widgets on the Standby screen.
