Turn on Face ID for App Store no keyboard to enter password

On my iPhone I am trying to turn on Face ID for the App Store so that I can stop having to type my password every time I try to download an app. However, when I try to turn on that function, it asks me to enter my password, and there is no keyboard to allow me to type my password.


The App Store had recently switched to requiring my password instead of Face ID. I went to settings to make sure that it was on. It said that it was, but I was still not able to use Face ID. So I turned it off planning to turn it back on and I’ve run into this issue.
