How to adjust setting of Menu Bar on my MacBook running macOS Sonoma?

I updated my macbook pro yesterday and now the menu bar is half the size it was. This seems like an error in the update.

The application windows now pass behind the camera island:

As does the text:

Now, the icons are cut off:

Even the apple logo:

And there's a random space after the first two options in the menu bar:

This is a pretty embarrassing bug for a new update. Is there any way to fix it?

Obviously, this is not normal.

A few things you may want to try:

1) Check the settings in System Settings->Accessibility->Display->Menu bar size.

Switch between default and large, and see if it somehow leads the menu bar to reach the correct size (note: even in default size, it should of course not appear as you have it.

2) Change the resolution in System Settings->Displays. See if going back and forth between large text and more space somehow forces the menu bar into the right size

3) Restart in Safe Mode. Does it appear correctly whilst in Safe Mode? No? Does the problem (re)appear after you restart again normally?

Ok so I had some wonky resolutions in my list in the display settings, but I restarted and the resolution list makes more sense now. So the problem is solved for now.
