Using Mac OS Finder to search for text in images

I can use Mac OS finder to search for files that contain a required text string. The result Finder gives includes image files. For example, type jpeg. However, when I open said image in Preview (v 11.0) the find function is greyed out. How can I search for the text within the image file, either with Preview or another app, thanks.

That is interesting thanks. Live Text sort of skirts around the problem. It is fine if there is a paragraph in the image (for example) I can copy and paste into a Word Processor. However, there are images where the text is embedded in the image (eg in graphs). Even though Preview has a 'Text Selection' under Tools, the app still shows text search functions under the 'Edit' menu options as greyed out - see enclosed.

As previously mentioned, Finder can find the text from outside the file, however Preview will not from within. Is there hope or perhaps a IIIrd part app in the store. Thanks for responding.
