No, you can't select all and then unselect the ones you want to keep. However, you can do the reverse.
If you press and hold on a message and select "More" from the pop-up menu, you'll be able to select all the ones you want to delete fairly quickly, then tap the trash can icon in the lower right corner.

No I was looking for a way earlier but it then dawned on me that messages are encrypted once they leave your device. You can do screenshots of the ones you can see on your screen.
