What is a UUID on my iPhone 15 Pro Max?

Ok so going through my iphone15 pro noticed a few settings I had previously changed or turned off back on once again. .


and snooping through my iPhone I seen a bunch of different UUID’s so every phone has a different one well you’ll see here there are multiple can someone or does someone have a clue to what is up with it ?

This is a unique number that is used for many things. It will not be useful for you and means nothing in diagnostics. A UUID number is used to:

  • Beacons use a UUID
  • StoreKit transactions use a UUID
  • Each advertiser uses a different UUID
  • Each call has a UUID
  • Apps and in-app purchases have a UUID
  • Each sound item that is playing has a UUID
