How do I protect my data if my iPhone is stolen?

My iphone has been stolen. How can I protect my data?

Your data is protected by your passcode. There is no way that anyone could ever guess your passcode in less than 10 tries before they are completely locked out.


You also have the option to remotely erase the data on the phone if you set up Find My on the phone....before....it was lost.


If your iPhone or iPad is lost or stolen - Apple Support


Do not remove the phone from the list of devices using your Apple ID. If you do this, the bad buys can erase the phone and then sell it as another phone.
