How do I move photos from my email to my photo gallery?

I sometimes move photos from my caveman cell phone to my email. From my email, I would like to move the photos to my desktop computer photo gallery. To me, I should be able to click on the item on my desktop email page that says," Move to..." but that would be way too simple... I'm guessing. There must be some ridiculous, convoluted way to do it in iMac computer world, as opposed to some common sense, logical way. So what is it?

Yes, it can. Use the mouse to select all the photos in the email: click the mouse and drag it over all the photos. You should see them selected as a "blue background", right-click one of them and choose "Export to Photos."

There are also other ways to select multiple items: Select items on your Mac screen - Apple Support. Here also, once selected, right-click an item to see the popup menu.
