Many many years ago I started with 'notator' (later creator, later logic etc) and it is still an important aspect of my workflow.
I wish that apple would give a bit more attention to the score editor. Some 'errors' go back decennia.
Not all people are DJ's after all. Am I alone in this?

You're not alone, but sadly, we who work at that level are in the minority. It's all developing more and more for YouTube DJs who are not actually musicians.
The funny thing is Logic started off as a dedicated music notation program ‘Clab-notator’, later with Creator (sequencer) later Logic by Emagic, and then Apple took over.
I still use only logic, I am just used to it.
What notation prgr would you recommend?
That's why I do score within a notation software.
However, Logic is still my most important all-round DAW.
I still hope the score editor gets a real update one of these days ...
