itunes does not recognize my iphone

iPhone 12 Pro Max, Windows 11 Pro

Up until a couple weeks ago, I had no issues with itunes recognizing my iphone. Now the phone doesn't show up on itunes. I've done all the recommendations listed: restarted pc/iphone, all have latest IOS updates, uninstalled/reinstalled itunes, tried different charging cords, tried different USB ports, even tried on my laptop. Even tried my work iphone, itunes doesn't recognize it either. So I downloaded Apple Devices and at first all my music AND audiobooks were wiped from the phone. Reloaded the music from the PC library but cannot reload the audiobooks (many books were not purchased through itunes/Apple, but through other apps/vendors). Any help would be great!
