How to Export Text Messages

Verizon can't help you with iMessages as they have nothing to do with iMessages. And they don't keep records of your SMS messages either.

If you're trying to export the messages from your phone, it's fairly easy to do using an application such as iMazing or TouchCopy from your computer. I use iMazing and it works quite well to export the messages as either text or pdf files. You can export all your messages or just ones from a particular contact. I believe both applications have some sort of trial that will let you see how they work.

Please note that if you are doing this for some sort of legal proceedings you should contact your lawyer first. There may be specific requirements for how the data needs to be handled.

I haven't heard of any way of doing it other than taking screenshots as you scroll down or up or pressing on each response individually and copy them to some other medium. If they would include a Share icon in Messages it would work.
