Face id is not working and not supported on iPhone 13 pro after IOS 17.5.1 update

After iOS 17.5.1 update, face id is not supported on my iPhone 13 pro. I have tried restarting phone in multiple ways possible. My lens is clean. I do not wear glasses. I was on tech support several times till I reached senior support and I restored my whole phone using my macbook. The device did not allow me to set up my face id. It just kept saying hold iPhone lower and higher. Even now when I am trying to set it up from settings, I am getting same error. Even apple is not sure of the error and now I have to take my phone to the store and for the software update Apple messed up, looks like I will end up paying out of my pocket for the service.
