Podcast Randomly Stops and Deletes While Listening

I listen to Podcasts on my Apple Watch SE using my Air Pods. In the past month the following has happened to me a few times: I'll be outside listening to a Podcast downloaded to my Watch. Suddenly the the Podcast will stop, and when I look at my Watch, it is gone, like it was never there, or it will say "Played" and then disappear when I tap it. This only happens when I am out.

I am wondering if the Air Pods are randomly connecting to someone else's Air Pods and the Podcast is being deleted because the other person is listening to something else, but I don't know what to do about it.

Random Connectivity;

No. This is not possible. You need to unpair these in Bluetooth settings. AirPods can only be paired to one device at a time. This is the way the Bluetooth protocol works.

So, you may way to sign out of iCloud on your Apple Watch to see if the connect error persists. Another thing to consider is subscribing to an Apple Music plan, so it can synchronize across device, thought these would be a monthly charge for this.
