How can I track many devices with FindMy app.

I work with a company that has 20+ Macs. I used to use a dummy iCloud account to log each one in to and activate Find My Mac. But now with two-factor authentication, I can't do it any more without going crazy with having to have a second device always ready to authenticate this account.

I don't want users to use their own iCloud accounts, because I have no way to deactivate them after people leave - I already have one bricked iPad because of this.

Is there a simple way to track all these Macs?

Your use case is exactly what MDM (Mobile Device Management) software is designed for. FindMy requires that iCloud is enabled on the device and using MDM software prevents the device from being bricked since you are in control of the Apple ID. Unfortunately I am not able to recommend a specific MDM solution for you, but this support article is a good start.
