How to delete iCloud Drive folder in my usr library

I seem to have an unwanted iCloud Drive in my user folder using 200gb of HD space. I need to free up this space but I cant delete it. When I try it says 'folder in use'. Help please

Turn off iCloud is the only suggestion I can give you. On my Mac I have turned iCloud off so it doesn't upload my Desktop or Document's but I leave sync with Mac so I can manually stick files on iCloud that I normally wouldn't put on my Desktop or in Documents or just delete.

Thank you for your suggestion, but I am not sure how that helps. My Icloud drive in finder contains all my latest files, the drive in the library is different has not been modified since January, and that is the one I want to delete, but there is no option to delete

Sorry if I am not clear. No I dont want trash my main iCloud account which is just fine, I just want to remove the second iCloud Drive folder that has appeared in my usr library in January, taking up 205.68gb most of my local HD space
