You must use an ARM64 version of Windows 11 or macOS Big Sur or later in Parallels Desktop 19.4 on an M3 iMac and no version of the now-ancient Freehand MX is compatible with either of those operating system choices.
It may be time to move on to newer applications.
Adobe says that Freehand does not work with Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard), or higher. They encourage users to migrate to Adobe Illustrator.
