Please why does my battery cycle count increase even while I haven't charged it. I have charged it just twice and I haven't used it below the 70% mark however, it has a cycle count of 3.
It actually had a count of 2 when I unboxed it as a brand new laptop. It's a MacBook Pro M3 Pro chip 14"

Cycle counts round to the nearest whole number. If you have charged your computer from 70% to 100% twice, that's 60% which rounds to 1 charge cycle.
There is little point in trying to micromanage battery charging.

The battery is charged before the Mac is shipped. And possibly some type of testing. Again, it's not worthing worrying about.
The laptop shipped with only a partial charge on the battery from the factory, so that would also count towards part of the 1 cycle as well.
