How do I block a McAfee notification

McAfee keeps sending notification pop ups saying I have a viruses and my system has been damaged. These notifications comes every 4 to 5 minutes. I had them a few months ago and they went away. Now they came back. I have had them again for at least one month now. I don't have a virus on my computer, Norton and TotalAV have checked and both come back that I am clean. I don't want to click on the pop up, afraid it's spam and I will be taken where I don't want to go. Help . . .

Go to Safari > Settings > Websites > Notifications, and delete all sites there that you have allowed to send you Notifications.

fyi, Norton and Total AV are not the answer. Feel free to use the Search button on the top of this page and search for each of those programs to discover the problems they actually cause.

No Problem. You issue with the Notifications will not come back as long as you do not allow these websites to send you Notifications. To prevent accidentally allowing a Notification, there is a setting on the same Notifications page that says "Allow websites to ask for permission to send Notifications", and if you uncheck this, it will eliminate most of those prompts.
