My iPad Air M2 battery is draining fast

Is there anybody here having battery issues with their iPad Air m2 (iPad gen 6)? It seems my battery drains so quick. Streaming for 2 hours and battery from 80% to 20% . This is supposed to last 8-10 hours of streaming.

Hope you guys can help

Really? How long have you got yours? I have mine for the last 12 days. I was thinking that iPad was trying to study my habits of charging and use of iPad but I think 12 days is quite long to calibrate. I have turned off all notifications, background refresh and always running at a low screen brightness. I was expecting more with battery usage with this m2 chip.

I just had the same problem with a replacement unit, my first unit was perfect with battery performance, but it had a terrible response from the touch screen and was the reason to contact Apple support. They changed it and I'm noticing that the battery performance in this new unit is really bad. I don't know if I should contact support again or wait a few days...

My battery health is already 98% and it hasn't been a year since i bought it. i dont even use it regularly, just when i need to read something for school. i always turn off the wifi and bluetooth because it can drain much faster. I dont even use it while charging

An iPad battery is rated to retain 80% of its initial full capacity after 1000 charge cycles. As such, simple math suggests that your iPad's indicated battery health will reduce by 1% for every 50 full recharge cycles.

Losing "only" 2% of your battery's initial capacity after a year is surprisingly low.
